A/C problems HELP

My A/C has been haven problems the last couple weeks. It cools pretty good at idle but when your movin it gets warmer. Doesnt get hot, just barely cool to keep you from sweatin to bad. With this 100+ heat every day its killin me. Where should i start?

1st thing is to put a set of gauges on it and see what the pressures are

Thanks for the help. ive planin on doin that, it just seems backwards as to what usually happens when the charge is low.

Mine just started doing that. Then 2 days later the alternator went. I replaced the alt and now the air works fine.

That weird. Its been doin it for a couple weeks now. Wonder why the alt would affect the a/c cooling.
