Guys with Mitre Cut stacks

Just swapped out my turn outs for mitre cuts, just wonderin did any of you guys drill a small hole underneath so water could drain if it pours out??
My truck usually sits all week, only gets used weekends and one in a while durin the week.
Did a search and couldn't find a thing.

The way that I have mine setup is a piece of 4" flex pipe and then the elbow up to the splitter. I left the rear most clamp a hair loose, it has rained everydY this month except for 3 days and every morning I start it up for 2-3 mins and the water all drains out. What water doesn't make it to the flex pipe gets blown out the stacks, if it is supposed to pour out I put some coffee cans over them and that keeps it all out.

I love mitres, but this was my only poor thought against them.

I'd have a drain on the bottom i'd think. Blowing water out stacks is not pretty. =(

i don't have any drain for my stacks, but usually the water will drain out a clamped joint. you would need to be in a monsoon to get enough water to do have to worry about it. most of the water will evaporate before getting blown out the stacks.

They make rain caps that fit mitre cuts if your concerned about water.
