ScanGuage II

Anyone know if a scanguage II is able to read all codes on an 03 6.0?

I already have one, and was wondering if I was GTG or need to sell it and go shopping.

Codes are universal, Shouldn't be an issue. But I have never had need to try out the scangauge diagnositics for this.

No, it will not read all the codes on a diesel. It will read the generic DTCs that are common on all vehicles, but it will not get all the codes from the 9 modules that are available on these trucks(specifically the 6.0). The only monitor that has that ability to my knowledge that is like the scangauge is the DashDAQ. If you want to get a little more technical with software then I would recommend the AutoEnginuity software package. It does a little more then the scangauge, but it isn't as "portable" as the DashDAQ, but it does what the DashDAQ can do and more, but you have to have either a PDA with enough RAM in it or a laptop(depending on the size of laptop, you might be alright).
