I finally swapped my 2006 F250 V10 for a 2009 F150. While the F250 was a workhorse, the change to the F150 is significant. THis is really a quiet, smooth riding truck. So far the mileage has been very good in the 20 MPG range on the highway. This is quite an increase from the V10 at 13. I can't knock the ability of the F250 as a towing monster, but when you don't need it anymore, no need to pay for the extra gas.
I have always been a Ford man except for a few years I went to GM, but after a GMC lemon, I have been with Ford.
Glad to say Ford has built a very solid truck with this new F150. Also glad to drive one and say thanks FORD for not taking any of my Bailout tax dollars.

Ahicks,
You are going to be a very happy man. I traded in the same truck, 2006 F-250, V-10 a few eeks ago. I am amazed at the fuel mileage of 19-21 that this new truck is getting. Instead of filling up a 29 gallon tank twice a week, now only the 36 gallons once a week. No complaints with the new truck yet. I have been driving Fords since 1980 and this 09 is by far the nicest truck Ive ever had.
Thanks, Trueblue12
