NP205 Crossmember

I've found a lot of guys discussing this in different forums but I've never seen exactly what I am looking for. I'm currently in the middle of a project build with the drivetrain of choice having come from a 1991 F-250. It involves an EFI 460 driving an E40D with a NP205 splitting the power. Everything bolts up and I've already made a bracket to support the driver side of the transfer case. My problem is that I'm going to continue worrying about the extra mass hanging off the tailshaft of the tranmission until I can fabricate some kind of crossmember that can support it all on both sides. I've come to realize that I'm problably going to have to get the tubing bender out and bolt the drivers side up closely to how I have it now and connect it to the passenger side. The only thing I can come up with for the passenger side is to fashion something to the access panel of the case housing. If anyone on this site has been through the same delema please post your ideas and pictures. All the ones I've found so far are of either the divorced type or the perverted versions of the Ford (ie. Chevy, or Jeep); those aren't helping me at all.

That transfer case already has a mount on the driver side. The factory mounted one bushing from a bracket here. Why would you not do the same? The C6 was aluminum and they held up just fine with a 205 hanging off of the back.
The transfer case does not try to move up or down, but it does try to rotate, this is why the one bracket is placed where it is. Worked for so many years, and still does, so why dont you stick with the same method?

Yes, I'm already using the factory location on the drivers side (slightly modifide to fit an 86")and it'll be plenty strong so I know the weight of the torque being applied out the splitter will be supported. But I want something a little more heavy duty, that'll carrie both the torque applied and the dead weight of the case. Enough to where I might even be able to remove the original trans mount since it appears as though it's going to interfere with the front driveshaft (that is something I've never seen done, I'm not sure if I'm going to try it or not). I've heard of a lot of guys doing it, so I know I'm not the only one. I just haven't ever heard them say HOW they did it, or what design they used.
Thanks for the reply.
