Overdrive inhibitor
Does anyone have experience with the Intermotive OD 301? www.intermotive.net/od1.htm Their web site says it takes 10 - 15 minutes to install and is easy. I read the directions and I'm not sure I can do it with my limited experience. 10 - 15 minutes certainly seems impossible. If someone has actually used this, what did you pay and how happy are you with it?
Is the issue of how the trans. works when driving in town, esp shifting into od at 40 - 45 and then of course right out again when you slow down a bit is really a problem for the life of the trans? I would like it to not shift in and out of od so frequently, but I can live with it if it is not shortening the life of the transmission and the od301 is not a highly recommended option.
