from what i heard when i had my 99 the 6.0 intercooler is better ... every one who had the 7.3 intercoolers were looking for 6.0's ... if you want a 7.3 intercooler you might look on the 99 through 03 forum and find one cheap

Yes 7.3 is better than none at all. The 6.0 is even better than that and still can be had at a fair price. The Searco is even better than that but the orice is outrageous. That is why most go with the 6.0

I passed up a 6.0 one on craigs list for $100 about a month ago. If I was flexible enough I would kick myself in the head.
