Trying to figure out as much info on this truck as I can. After browsing these forums I'm not coming across much concerning how to decode the emission sticker or where to find the diagrams.
Oops, I actually did after a second look. Sorry about that. It's late... I was sure I didn't have any for 302s, but after checking the calibration label again, I found the match.
That other sticker is a good source of info. Don't lose it.
Here's the diagram for your application as decoded in the calibration label.
Ford emissions label D6TE-9C485-APG looking for one!
looking for help with decoding the emissions label on this 1976 F100 Custom 4 speed Manual 4WD. Think it’s a 5.9 but for 💩 and grins, curious if it’s legitimate. Label looks to applied over another emissions label. Drinker’s side restored, repainted. Before I painted drinker’s side rocker cover. 1976 F100 5.9?
Ford emissions label D6TE-9C485-APG , driver’s side rocker cover 1976 F100. Trying to find a replacement sticker. I can read the Settings for Manual Transmission ignition timing is 18 degrees BTDC.
I saved the best for last, so about to blast / restore this rocker cover. Just looking for help locating an emissions label for D6TE-9C485-APG , I think! Saw the last post on thread was a while ago, but maybe the availability is better now, I don’t know, A guy could maybe help a Feller out. VGG all the way!

I saw those on the interwebs when I searched for D6TE-9C485-APG . Those just aren’t close enough in specs. This one states barely legible Manual Trans 18 degrees BTDC , etc, etc. The truck has been de-emissioned, air pump removed, tank was converted swapped to a non vented tank before I took on the project. Yet several things are not correct. EGR valve was connected to constant vacuum source on the front port of the 2150 2V carburetor. Non vented step side gas cap was not removed however and there was a fuel filter added between the 2150 carb mounted fuel filter and the fuel pump canister style fuel filter built into the pump body plus the strainer in the tank. Lots of suction but with the wrong fuel cap and all those filters, no wonder it ran like 💩. Like holding yer finger over the top of a drink straw. Need suggestions on finding a vented cap that will fit the non vented step side deep reach style fuel cap or find a different year step side filler neck with vented fuel cap and swap the entire filler out. Apparently the reach depth of the cap is different from vented vs non vented fuel caps. Also would like to find better air pump port block off’s on the cylinder heads instead of what the PO installed which are huge 3/4 hex head bolts.

Well I did not mean for those suggestions to match or to be exactly what you needed, just the to check with Macs/Ecklers. Vented gas cap, just drill a hole in the one you have.

yeah , I knew what you meant by reference only. Just glad you replied in general also. I will check out the filler neck links and anything else you come up with. Not sure about drillin out the cap, does a vented cap close when there is zero fuel being pumped, and then vent open when pump starts sucking fuel from tha tank? Hate to lose / evaporate fuel or be a hazard for a smoker walking by, I don’t know, need more data on how caps work or vent, really. The vented cap off my old MGB looks very simple and similar to the vented cap I got off rock auto for the 1976 F100, however it’s reach is shallow and won’t engage with the 1976 step side F100 emissions equipped fuel filler neck.

Anyone know what year flareside/ step side 4x4 is available that had non evaporative emissions? I need a vented fuel cap that matches a fuel filler from whatever year that is non evaporative emissions. I have bought the fuel cap that is vented off Rock Auto, funny how they can sell me a vented cap for a 1976 F100, yet there is no way it can engage a non vented fuel filler neck from 1976. This truck has had a tank swap to non evaporative emission by PO, so stuck with this tank . Just need help with year spread etc to find a vented cap fuel filler neck for StepSide/ Flare side 4x4 F100 Custom.
