I agree with the short lifespan. I have already put 20,000 on mine since I got them and there is alot of wear. But I love them for muddin its hard to get them bad boys stuck.

Ouch! Quite an insult there, seeing as you are driving a shortbed...I can understand your ignorance regarding 7" being too much. As for the 17"....it's called "flotation", you must not have any sand dunes up North to get stuck in with your 20" setup (drive alot on hardball do ya)? Also helps soften the ride when traversing the Bad Lands Cliffs but you wouldn't know anything about that would you?
