Hey guys, well I got the engine in this past tuesday and it runs great. It was a little early to run it really hard but today was one of my local tracks diesel drags. and you guys know how I am, i jus HAD to go. I went, first pass leaving at 4 or 5 psi it ran a 14.39. second run i left about 10 or 13 somewhere in there and it ran a 14.23. I looked at my boost gauge going down the track on the second run noticeing it not having what it should thinking i should be 14.0's. gauge was fluttering at 30-35psi when ive had it easily 50-55 before. pop hood and sure enough a boost leak at y and plennums. i tried fixing it real quick with engine hot before first round and i didnt do a very good job, left at 10psi in pshhhh POP blew off the boot and just idled down the track. Keep in mind this is with my 38s on, tool box loaded with tools and cab filled with clothes, food, drinks and bunch of crap, left tailgate on and no bottle today.
I am going to adjust the intake Y this week and fill bottle and take off tailgate and put my 33s on it next weekend and try and break 13.8's
Thats just a quick little update for byou guys curious on how it runs since BTS had it.
