1933 ford tranny

hello, i have a 1933 ford pickup with the original flathead v8 and 4speed manual tranny. i cant seem to get the tranny out of the truck. i have the mmotor out and rebuilt and i would like to have the tanny inspected before i put her all back together. i am looking for any old time mechanics or anyone else that knows any tricks to getting these old style tranny's out. any help would be appreciated. please email me with anything at jdog1000(No Email Addresses In Posts!).

Don't know if this helps or not, but i had a 47 coupe with flathead. the shop manual showed removing the trans up through the floorboard. The front floorboard section bolted in.

good luck
