I also offered the same for Nick. I met his Dad in Oregon. He is on vacation with his family that week but is going to try to fly down for the weekend.

I just need to figure out what nights I'm gonna be down there so I can get mom to make hotel reservations. I'd stay in Jim's cabin like he offered, but I now have to drag dad along. That'll be a drag.

Thats cool Jacob, wasn't being smart, hope you can make it, your a good fella. Justin, I can bring some firewood but isn't there a ban on transporting wood from each state, something with the Elmerald ash borer and bad insects???

He also has a REALLY bad sense of humor. So be prepared to have him making jokes that only he laughs at.
The biggest problem will be keeping within 10mph of the speed limit with a shiny new DP in the truck.
He has a 6.0 and an OBS 7.3, but he's not into the diesel performance scene. He's not into it, but he can't see a reason for doing something if it isn't 100% practical 100% of the time.

My understanding is that you are not allowed to bring firewood into Tennessee. The same is here in West Virginia. That is what killed out Chestnut trees and is now killing off a lot of the maples. Some damn bug from Japan and China I think. It is just like that Japanese Rose the state imported in the 60's to help with ground erosion near the highways. You just cannot kill the damn stuff once it gets rooted.
