not bad, only problem is the reason the plastic gets weak and breaks is because the "felt" on that rubber strip wears off and the trim is actually hanging up on the window and flexing the door panel. when it gets bad enough the trim actualy folds down into the door between the window. its a good fix if you have a new trim peice
Even the old pieces it works. I did it on my old doors.
The plastic gets weak on the doors no matter what. The trim cracks cause its not taken care of properly with silicone.
if your trim is popping down in the window, then pull it and zip tie it in properly like I've shown, you'll have no problems as I found out on my 95. =)
it wont matter when the felt is wore off, the rubber under the felt will still grab the window glass and flex down, the zip ties may prevent it from breakig off but they are still in need of replacement
