Hello chaps Winch plate
Hi
Warn winch had an electrical fault so I had to take it off. While I was at it the winch plate was really rusty so I had it blasted and galvanized with a few other parts.
What do you think should I leave it the silver galv finish to show through from behind the bumper or paint it black.

That looks cool 
Galvanization WILL corrode over time. It gets that crystalline/crusty look to it - it doesn't "rust" but does change over time.
If it were me, I'd paint it black with a decent primer that works with zinc (or whatever they "galvanized" it with).

Smart idea... I would have never thought to galvanize the parts. It's your choice but if it were me, I would paint the parts either black or red (Warn's trademark color).
