actually it's not about post count just trying to stop in and share the joy of a wonderful day but the extra posts aren't bad either and it gets people to respond to the posts -so it all good in all ways
I just felt like givin ya a hard time. I saw u joined in 2008 and have 12,xxx posts, I just thought it was crazy. Hell I have not broke the 500 mark yet. Lol.
I wanted to get the exhaust done on my '79 at Odin's a couple of months ago (due to the recomendation of a co-worker and a tool salesman)........guy that I talked to wouldn't do it 'cause my truck no longer has cats on it. I didn't take them off, it was that way when I bought it in '01.......I under stand the legality issues of it, just busting you chops!.....I was only trying to keep it in the FTE family!
i know an exhaust shop that probably wont give you any grif about no cat, ill pm you (if i can remember how) and tell you (don't want to get anyone in trouble)
I have to ask..... did the F250 even have cats in '79? I had a '78 F150 351M that didn't from the factory, and I know that the cat was introduced on at least some of the trucks in '79, but I'm wondering if it made on both the light duty and medium to heavier?

Yep, 79 was the start for the trucks. I think a 79 F350 was excempt though.
