Hah, kind of funny thing there. It did NOT come with a template. It came with a printout of Motomans instructions printed right off the web. Kind of an underhanded thing I thought, unless they had permission to use it, which I doubt.
I don't, and I also don't think a full size template would be very helpful. The cab roof is too curved for any template to lay down. Make your own simple template of an individual lamp base, and then lay down a lot of masking tape and just mark it out. It's scary, but if you double and triple check your layout you'll do fine.
I recommend a Greenlee punch for the big holes. It's a 1/2" conduit (7/8" diameter) and you can rent one for a few bucks. A lot less chips than using a uni-bit.
I bought the very first one on the page. Actually came out of an F150, but he modifies it to fit perfectly in our Superduty's. It has outside temp and compass. Does NOT have miles to empty or any other computer functions.
Here is another thread that I consider important if you want to install the overhead console. Might save you some rework WRT the reset switch. I love the console and it looks like it was installed at the factory. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/7...d-console.html
