Crazy tree

I had just got home from our churches parsonage and it had started to rain
so i was standing out on our front porch watching the rain when the trees
started to sway really bad. just then i look over at my neighbors house and
hear a really loud explosion and see about a 100ft hickory tree snap in two
about 10 feet off the ground and fall over there house crushing the ridge and
sheering the entire overhang off the side of the house. I was standing there
in disbelief, then ran over to make sure everything was okay. Spent the next
few hours with them trying to use a truck to pull the tree off the house in
the rain.

Crazy weather.

Good that no one was hurt.

lemonade out of lemons... Lots of good hickory smokin and BBQ'n wood there.

Maybe get neighbors out with chain saws and they get to keep all the smokin wood they cut? If I was local I sure would leap at a chance to get a treefull of BBQ wood.
