Problem with A/C

I did the A/C bypass valve at the same time I had my dash disassembled and now I have a problem. I put the vacuum T in the redline behind the glovebox and now my A/C (which does work) comes out of the defrost only. When I had the dash apart I had to remove the climate control panel. The vacuum connection will only go on one way so I assume that I got it on correctly. Does anyone have an idea of a fix before I tear the dash apart again?

You have to find the source of the vacuum leak and repair it.
Climate control defaults to defrost if you lose vacuum.
