you take the cooling stack out as an assy..that's the radiator, I/C, and fan shroud...you have to take off the upper and lower air deflectors...the power steering resevoir bracket needs to come off..remove the intake tube, IC tubes, and radiator supports..disconnect and plug the transmission cooler lines..the A/C condenser needs to be pulled forward(top and bottom) so the tranny cooler fittings will clear..there are two bolts that hold it in place..there may be a few odds and ends that you need to also remove..look carefully before you pull it out..
once the stack is out you can seperate the radiator from the shroud and I/C..Good luck..6.0's in vans are tough to work on..
Yes you have to pull the intercooler, it bolts to the radiator. You need to drain coolant remove the upper and lower rad hoses and small hose to coolant tank. Remove 4 8mm bolts two up top and two at the bottom to remove shroud from in front of fan, pull it up through the top. Disconnect turbo connectors from intercooler, disconnect trans lines from bottom of radiator. Un bolt condensor from radiator. I think that is everything, get someone to help pull the radiator out, its heavy, then unbolt intercooler from radiator and seperate side brackets from radiator and reverse.
