Show Me Your Lifted 80-86's.

I am thinking about getting a 4 inch lift with 31's for my truck.

Can Y'all post pictures of your trucks with bigger tires or a lift??

Thanks!

You can fit 31's on a stock truck. IMO they will look too small with 4" of lift.

You could easily run 33's, but then you are going to need gears too.

Oh, well a person who has a 1985 F-150 put a 4 inch body lift with 16 inch rims and 31's on it. It looks awesome!

Cody,if you watch that video closely, you'll notice that there is a huge gap between the bottom of the tailgate and the bumper. This is one thing you'll have a problem with if you do a body lift. Also, don't forget my truck has 31's,and it sits alot higher than it did when I first got it.If you have weak suspension, then your truck is automatically gonna sit a little lower.I'm pretty sure that when I replace my coils in the front, the truck's gonna go up a little bit more.Honestly,IMO,I'd just throw some 31's on there.I don't plan on doing a body lift of any kind on my truck. One other thing you have to watch out for with 31's is this....

They will rub on your Radius Arms if you have to make a really wide turn. Most people don't make that wide of a turn, but you never know when you'll have to turn it all the way.You can see in the pic that the tires already been rubbing on the radius arm and cleaning off the rust.

Heres a picture of my truck with a 4" lift and 33s.

Here is a picture of it with 4" lift and 31s.

I know you have seen pictures of my truck before because you asked me about the lift before but I thought I would post them just to show you again. I would not do a body lift, just because I dont like the gaps that it makes between the bumpers and when you look down by the frame.

Oh yeah, would a front end leveling kit solve that problem?

Looks good man! I like the looks of the 31's! Maybe i will put 31's on my truck with a front end leveling kit or a 2 inch lift or somethin.

After lookin at that video again, i noticed that is a 2wd truck. And i kind of find it funny they raised the front bumper(the hard one) and not the rear(the easy one). I still dont think there is a body lift on that truck

Hey KENWORTHFAN i was wondering what rim/tire combo your running? For example, rims size, offset, and tire size. I have a very similar truck and am looking to have a setup like yours. Thanks!
