92 Ranger idle issues

HI my beast takes a long time to return to idle once warmed up,new IAC. If I turn the key off and on the idle acts normally. Could this be a PCM issue? Open to ideas, I'm stumped, thanx in advance.

pulled codes? IAC woudl be my first guess,other than a vacum leak, did you put a gasket in with the new IAC?

TPS and air temp, and colant temp sensors would be my next guess.

CPU are usally the last thing to fail really.it happens but not that offten
