Keypad Entry, then no start?
Hi,
Just got my 05 FX4, works fine, only issue so far is that when I use the keypad for entry to the truck, and try to start it, there is nothing there, doesn't click, doesn't do anything. I just hit the unlock on the key fob, and then I can start it as normal???
Any tips on what I'm doing wrong, or if I have to program something?

does it have an aftermarket alarm...or even the Ford Factory Alarm?
if so, they might not have setup the alarm to recognize the keypad...it sees the locks getting unlocked and might be dead switching the ignition.
My Durango has an aftermarket alarm. If I unlock it via the key, the ignition is dead. Unlock it via the Alarm FOB, and it will start.
