Bilstein Part #'s

I'm confused! I'm getting 2 different part #'s from 2 different websites, and Bilstein's site isn't any help. I'm looking for part #'s for the 5100 series (don't want the baby blue and yellow look) - 02, 4wd, stock height.

Thanks

This is the best info I can find... hope this helps....from ShockWareHouse.com... http://www.shockwarehouse.com/index....cted_year=2002

5100 - Racing Series

FRONT Shocks
F4-BE5-A464-H5 Front 1 $75.70 each
Free Shipping
Important: Units for trucks with double shocks. See Bilstein for details. Compression bump stop on chassis may need to be modified to prevent damage to the shock absorber. This is standard when placing longer shocks in the stock location.

REAR Shocks
F4-BE5-6246-H6 Rear 1 $75.70 each
Free Shipping
Important: Use on 1999 - 2004 models with up to 2-inches suspension lift. On 2005-up models, use on trucks with a 2 to 4-inch suspension lift. Compression bump stop on chassis may need to be modified to prevent damage to the shock absorber. This is standard when placing longer shocks in the stock location.

Thanks for posting that.

That's one of the sites I found too, but when I called them they gave me part #'s BE5-2818 and BE5-C296. 4wheelparts gave me BE5-6246-H6 and BE5-A464-H6. I'm not real sure what the differences are.

Something's up with what they told you on the phone... either they misunderstood you or mis-quoted the part numbers or you might have mis-understood the numbers they quoted.

The"2818" is the standard HD yellow and blue shock you're NOT wanting, and the "296" number is for either a Jeep or Freightliner. I got that info by searching their site with those part numbers.

The part numbers from 4wheelparts match exactly the schockwarehouse.com numbers I listed above in my first reply, and I believe that is exactly what you need based on what you've told us thus far.

Brendan,

Did you have any issues with the rear shocks being designed to work with lifted springs?

I was wondering if I could use the same ones?
