After having replaced the frame and cab on my 1997 Ford truck I cannot get my front diff to engage. The t/case will operate in high and low range just fine but it appears that the two solenoids mounted behind the battery on the firewall are not receiving a signal from the t/case so that they will not redirect vacuum to the vacuum slave on the diff itself. I crossed the two wires at the t/case and nothing happened at the solenoid so this is telling me that there may be a relay disconnected. (This could have happened when I re-installed the interior/dash etc.
Can anyone tell me if there is an electrical relay between the t/case and the above described solenoids? If there is then where exactly will it be located? I sure hope I don't have to pull the whole dash out.
