What tranny?

I have a 86 bronco 302 xlt and automatic with OD but I don't know what modle it is.

but I think it is the c6

A C6 does not have overdrive. It will be a AOD.

but like "helirich" said if it does have OD in an 86 then it is the AOD

In '86 you had the AOD. That, was the stock transmission that year. The C6 came behind the 351.
