Good to know. I swapped out my 98 radio and ended up beating it to death since the clip tool wasn't working. It was traveling on other side and actually forcing the clip further into the catches. Bent the tools also and tossed them after buying my boss replacements. Funny thing is a neighbor saw me just finishing up and pointed to his vette and asked if I was good with radios. I picked up the defaced original unit and said only, "If I can use a claw hammer." Don't get me started about the wife's Honda Civic. Thankfully I was able to find the proper way before I got stupid on it also.
