79 styleside bed swap
this may not be the right spot for this, but I am having an issue with a shortbed style side bed swap. i searched the forums looking for info, but didnt see what i was looking for.... i am putting a 73 bed on my 79 and i have a new complete mount kit (from broncograveyard). the swap went pretty well, but now that its on, the front end of the bed sits lower than the back end and the dentsides and trim wont line up.( its off by about a half inch or so...) there werent any pads or bumpers on the old one when i took it off....and..... i dont see anywhere where there is any extra lift pads with any of the body lift kits... am I missing something? has anyone run into this before? have i done something wrong somewhere?

1/2 ain't to bad to work with....that is if the bolts will allow adjustment with some washers and a few hard gromets maybe.I have seen stock trucks with the origional cab and bed off on a lot of occasions.

i figured i could shim it with some washers and the like, but was hoping not to have to "rig it" if there were oem type parts avail....
