Does anyone know?
I have a D 60 front open carrier and a spare D60 Posi rear Carrier I want to put the posi in the front. I have the Posi out and everything looks identical?! is it possible to put a rear carrier in the front

It is a plausable idea with one exception. The rear axle is a 30 spline axle, and the front is a 35 spline unit. What type of LS unit is it?
I use a rear Power-Lok in the front of several of my trucks with D60's.The same carrier breaks apply, so make sure that you make provisions for this if you plan on getting funky with the ratio.
35 spline side gears are available depending on the LS type.
This came out of a dodge with a dana 60 rear, and has been modofied to be used up front.
