i have a 1990 f250 with the m5r2 manual trans. i am trying to do a shifter repair kit because the shifter is so sloppy. my issue is how do you get out bolt that seperates the shift stick from the shift ball at the bottom. the bolt goes through and holds it in, but there is no head on the bolt just threads. ive tried backing a nut against andother nut but it wont budge. any ideas thank you guys
If it's a "light" F250 then it will have the mazda. Light 250s don't have a full floating rear axle and the front end has the small lock outs like a half ton (I think its a dana 44)
