Just the other day my check engine light came on again. I pulled the codes and there was nine at once. Eight of them say cylinder 1 through 8 fuel injection circut and the other says fuel injection control module performance. The truck seems to running normal. Does anyone know were i should start looking to solve this issue. The truck has 70K miles could the injectors all going bad at the same time? I would not think so.
Ever cleaned your EGR valve? They like to clog with soot and make the truck run sluggish like a bad injector.
Experienceing any coolant loss? White spots around the coolant fill bottle? These are signs of a clogged EGR cooler..which also make the truck run like poop.
EGR valve is simple to pull out and clean. There is even directions in the tech folder on that. I'd try cleaning that first and see if things improve.
our ficm went out at around 70,000 miles to. the only time we could tell there was something wrong was when we drove up some grades with the trailer, other than that the truck drove completely normal.
