Ummm...can you mix the new Mercon V and the old Mercon?? (used to be a real no-no) That's what you just did by only draining the pan.

Well its not the first time it got changed just the first time I personally changed it. Before that I took it to a shop. Hopefully all is well wid it.

He is going to or did change the converter and pan. I read somewhere that you aren't supposed to mix Mercon and Mercon V. I guess it is not a real bad idea because I never hear much about it, also; everyone that buys an Ex (unless they think to ask) doesn't know what was in it so unless they do a "complete flush" they could easily mix them.
