This has been posted elsewhere, but it can be hard to find so I thought I would repost it here.

You can view an online PDF of your original window sticker, including MSRP and all factory installed options. It only works back a few years. Not sure of the cutoff, but it works on my '06 and not on my '02.

Cut and paste the following into your browser, then add your VIN at the end of the string, and press enter.

Your browser will probably add the necessary http:// at the start, but if not you might have to type that part too.

Anyone shopping for a used Ford should use this, along with OASIS and CARFAX.

 

I won't work on my 05.

Here is the original thread. It looks like '06 might be the cutoff. But it might also be a rolling cutoff, so I don't know.

 

got the message. I tried one of our other 05's here and got the same message. 06 must be the cutoff.

Sorry that it isn't working for even the newer trucks. But you guys may already know that you can request a build sheet from Ford. It's not as nice as the window sticker, and doesn't have MSRP, and takes longer to get it, but it does list the options.

I think I found some of your problems...

When you are copying and pasting, DO NOT PUT THE BRACKETS IN...

Here's what mine looks like:

 

Care to post your VIN so we can try? It should work for an '09 we would think.

 

Worked fine for my 07. No brackets [ ] around the vin guys.

 

Good point, and exactly right. The problem is, if I post a complete link without your VIN, it doesn't work. So just cut and past the previous post, but change his VIN to your own.
