Thick Gears

Are there any issues with buying thick gears, like with setting them up or anything? I was thinking about those for my rear dana 60 in 4.56 ratio to keep my carrier. I can get a carrier for the front really cheap so no problem there. Thanks

They are heavier so there might be more inertia involved, but not enough it should bother you. Setup should be the same just different carriers.

true, you might want to look into upgrading your brakes just in case.

I think we was just making fun of me, making fun of the ultra lite gears. If you look around at the different manufactures, they will have multiple grades of gears. Some make an ultra lite set for race cars to reduce the reciprocating mass.

It's never a bad idea to upgrade the brakes. Brakes just are adequate for the stock tire/wheel setup. If your putting on oversize tires, they will not be as effective.
