c6 and 9 in
does the c6 transmission come in different gear ratios like rear ends
also does the 9 in rearend come in low and high gears if so is there a away to tell the difference

No, the C6 didn't come with differen't ratios.
There are probably more gear ratios available for the 9" than any other axle. If the tag is gone from it & you need to know for sure I'd take it out. You can count turns but thats never for sure.

A C6 (and the C4 too) can be fitted with lower first and 2nd gears. The did not come as OEM that way.
As for the 9, yes, many many ratios availble, a sample here:
Currie Enterprises Racing Rear End Categories
Known as "the poor man's quick change", you can get gears for grocery runs, Bonneville, or 1/8th mile drags, and swap them in 30 min or less with a little practice and a couple of common tools.
