cab question...

cab question...
I found a 65 cab in near perfect condition...not OE paint though...sounds free of mud though...its a base model thus no dash trim holes or side mldg holes...its one problem...the dash...whats the most you guys would pay for it ???

ive seen whole trucks go for a few hundred... so a bare bones cab in near perfect.. I wouldnt pay more than a few hundred for ... but its all a matter of whats it worth to you to have it. Im sure you could find a cheaper one but it may likely be in worse shape.

couple hundred sounds fair. Not sure what you mean by the dash is not perfect. Stereo cutout or something? Perfect cab corners and floor pans are definately worth something since you won't have to cut out the old, buy repair panels, and weld in.

got mine for 75 bucks. full floor panels, everything rust free. stock paint. do you think the guy will deal with you if you play stupid and low ball because you have to tow it?
also if the guy isn't a enthusiast then what does he care how much he gets? to him its just a dumb cab. thats the way my seller was. he was selling it for his son. guess he put two trucks together or something. cant imagine there being a better cab then that one tho.

if I could find a mint cab - or even a rot free, but a bit dented / beat up cab, I'd be over the moon to pay $300 -500 for it
it's probably going to be ^^ that much in welding wire and gas and steel by the time mine is half decent!!

The dash is hacked...radio of course...rear cab corner has minor dent...from a fork it appears oor similar...thucks in a wrecking yard...fenders are gone as is the styleside gate...
