Hi, new to the site. I just purchased a 99 F150. Manual indicates that I should have a keyless entry remote system. I cannot get the truck into remote programming (turning key on off 8 times, etc) I have also tried the toggle the auto lock feature ( which is not on) in the RAP program. One touch window down does not also work. Any clues? I have been all over the NET with this.
Welcome to FTE TonyDee! What model truck exactly do you have? When you say manual, are you talking owners manual?
Some things included in the owners manual are included there so that one manual covers every model of truck built that year. Your truck may not have been equipped with these features and from what you indicate, the truck is telling you just that.
Did your truck when you bought it, come with a remote key fob? If not, did you buy some with the hopes of programming them? Good luck!
