First of all I've read a ton of stuff that I've searched through here on this forum, but there seems that I could have one or two of many issues so I thought I would post my own thread.
I get hot air all the time in my 99 F250. Even when the blower motor is on the OFF position, it gets stupid hot in the cab. A/C also blows hot. I pulled the glove box and the heater core panel and I can see the blend door opening and closing so I'm not sure what the deal is. Something plugged, vaccuum leak or in a part in need of replacement?
Also, when the blower motor is on DEFROST or FLOOR position, I get airflow, but when I put it on the dash vent position I get very little to no airflow.
I've also read a lot of info on the shut off valve trick for the A/C and everyone seems to be happy with it, but does it affect how the heat works?
