Ball joint help
Help.. Need to replace ball lower ball joints on 2004 f250.
Where can I find a good replacement set.??????? Thanks.
Scab dealership replaced twice. And tore seals both times. Gonna do it myself a. Thanks y'all

I think dana track or one of those others makes new heavy duty greasable and rebuildable ones for the dana 60 axle. Another forum had a sponsor selling new style greasable ones also but I don't remember where.

I think most aftermarket ball SD balljoints are greaseable. Anyone, many get NAPA Premium's. I've never heard of those failing.

Make sure you do both the top and bottom while it is apart!
Also when you press them in make sure the grease zerk is facing to the front or back (back is better i think) for ease of greasing. Screw the zerk in before pressing the new ball joint in and index the posistion on the ball joint then remove the zerk before the ball joint is pressed in. Hope this makes sence, i have seen a couple of new ball joints with the zerk not in a very easy place to get to!
