a.c. is blowing hot
I just changed the heater core yesterday and today it was blowing hot even with the a.c. on cold. I changed it because it was leaking. Before I changed it I had vise grips on the two hoses to stop the leak in the cab. I'm not sure how the whole a.c. system works as far as dampers and all of the vacuum lines opening them. any help will be much appreciated thanks

Have you taken the teflon spacer washer off the compressor yet? This should help your AC it did mine, of course verify the heater core hoses are in correct to.
I will post a photo tomorrow of the bolt that you back out and remove a"shim" washer and put the bolt back in. Others may chime in soon.

yes SpringerPop that would be the one, I added this because mine exhibited similar and i removed the shim as per your post and it worked.
