Muffler
Does anyone have a muffler for my 99PSD just laying around that they want to get rid of? As most of you know i received a ticket
and need to get mine fixed pretty soon before i have to go to court.

Mine is long gone. Them things are heavy, shipping would be expensive. Have you tried a salvage yard? If you have a speed shop near you, they always do muffler systems and might have one in their trash pile.

Havent had a chance yet, we just got back from the beach, just thought someone local may have one laying around. I'll be glad to get this done so i hopefully won't have any more problems with the blue lights.

Ray I was talking w/Cory about this and he seems to think that a turbo is a "muffling device". If that is correct then you may be able to beat that ticket. Just a thought.

what you get the ticket for? if it was for a noise polution then its not valid. These trucks are no where near the noise lever for a ticket.

I am also researching the turbo= noise reduction aspect. I just dont want to paint a bigger bullseye on my truck(the stax pretty much does that anyway). I plan on trying to fight it but i would like to have a fall back plan incase it doesnt work.(Dont worry it will look like a muffler but i can guarantee it will still be straight piped)!!!
