No,the 91-'92 model modular blocks used the old 5.0L bellhousing pattern.

Any Romeo from '94-present will bolt up to the trans, motor mounts, etc. There are a handful of differences between Windsors and Romeos that can be a hangup, but it's nothing that will keep you from using a Romeo in place of a Windsor.

that is promising. now the million dollar question is what are the littlet hangups that i would need to be concerned with? the engine that is in the expy now had the oil pump fail and engine locked up. i tried to turnit by the harmonic balancer forward and back but it would not budge and it overheated. the minute it happened and i lost oil pressure at 70mph i turned off the key and got over to the side of the road. i plan on using all other parts with the exception of the lower end, block, crank, pistons, rings and rods. if all of those items from a romeo will work and i can use the heads from the windsor that i had pressure tested, cleaned, shaved, new valves and valve job that would be ideal.

so again, what little things would i need to look out for or ensure that i get correct from the begining as you have mentioned?
