Ive seen one somewhere before on an f100... just curious to see what you guys thought.

 

This hood was specific to 1964/66 F750's because it has the cutouts for the hood ports.

It will fit other 1961/66 F Series trucks.

 

That would be a cool mod.... Good find. If you don't mind I might do that with my 65

Thats different. Saw a truck from downunder in a mag with circles cut into the side of the hood. Looks nice. I'm not a snap on cover fan either. If time and money don't hold me back I want to have a 1 peice aluminum cover made that sits flush with the bed rails.

 

Back when these trucks were newer, the only tonneaus available were snap- ons. So it is period correct. I suspect that the hard board under the vinyl lifts up. You can see that the snaps are not fastened into the bed sides. I think it looks great. Steve
