Well I was not going to get a leveing kit and just get new rims and tires, and i was looking at 18inch moto metal 951's with like a 285/60/18 but when i was talking to the guy he said something about them sticking out about 1inch past the fenders and i dont like that look at all...So now i bought the 2 1/2 leveing kit and wanted to see some pictures with wheels and tires and what should i get now,Any input would be greatful thanks craig
I not sure if im right on this... but i think you would have to have a smaller first number which is the width and higher second number like a 70 or 75 to have a taller tire. are you looking to fill the wheel well gap or just have a beefier looking tire?
Guy i got a 2 1/2 leveing kit and now want a nice set of rims and a nice A/T tires what size should i go with and brand? I dont like the look of them sticking out much pass the wheel well, any help and pictures would be great....The rest of the truck is stock..
Those wheels you mention are available in three offsets. -12, +18, and +30. The -12 will stick out of the fender and is meant for 6" lifts. The +18 will be close to stock, but stick out a little due to the width. I have the +18offset/5.71" backspacing. This setup allows you to run the largest tires with the least amount of lift. Even with my 12.5" wide Toyo M/Ts I don't stick out much more than an inch.
For all terrains I would suggest bfg or nitto terra grapplers.

I would recommend the +18mm offset. It has 5.71" of backspacing. Offset and backspacing are two different measurements but they tell you the same thing. Here is a link to help you understand backspacing and offset: http://www.fourwheeler.com/techartic...tte/index.html
You could run up to a 35x12.50R18 depending on how much trimming you want to do. I would suggest you do a search and see what size other guys are running. Find a truck with a stance you like and copy it. Get different wheels but with the same specs or same size tire but different brand.
Sorry those are the only pics I have with the new tires/wheels.
YA IM LOOING TO GET A NICE LOOK ON TEH TRUCK I DO ALOT OF HIGHWAY DRIVIMG SO I DONT WANT TO GO THAT BIG,I WOULD LIKE TO JUST PUT THE WHEELS ON AND GO WITH NO CUTTING OR TRIMMING,JUST THE 2.5 LEVELING KIT AND A NICE LOOK SIZE TIRE AND IM HOOK ON THE 951 moto
