Random Downshift when not needed
Fellas, and Dave haha
Here goes again, i am experiencing what i refer to as a sudden and unnecessary downshift. I will be just cruising and it will downshif then upshift within two to three seconds. Any thoughts, it is a C6 and fresh rebuilt, shifts like clockwork and nicely but this just started. What have i done new you ask? well i replaced the stock airhose, the starter solenoid, the GPR, and bypassed the GPC, any of these mess that up? Thanks

I think I would check the vacuum level.
Either you bumped a vacuum line causing a leak or the vacuum pump is getting ready to die.
Since everything you worked on was electrical except the stock air hose, and the C 6 uses no electricity, the problem you have now is not directly related.
