i was told that if you have a light over your license plate then the cops will leave you alone. most the guys i work with that have fords don't have rear bumpers. i was thinking about going the roll pan route. for right now i'm just going to go with out. i have other things that need more attention.

and although 78/79 front bumpers are not the same, an earlier bumper bolts right up and looks better IMO.

Years ago I was driving down the road and the cops were traveling in the opposite direction. They turned all the way around and stopped me. The charge? License plate light not working!
