Wish I could a sun visor for my truck
#2
Ok?????? I think I missed a word.
I'm assuming you would LIKE a sunvisor for your truck - that shouldn't be a problem really.
Which truck?
The one in the picture is a Fulton Deluxe very much like the one KUSTO is installing. I also have a Fulton Deluxe, but it was made for a 42/46 Plymouth - and thus is straight across the front (very much like the one in the picture you posted) The regular Fultons are more chevron shaped and don't look so good on our trucks withthe flat windshield - they were designed more for the split V-shaped windshields on the 49-51 cars.
Chances are whatever you get will be too wide - by about 6 inches - and will have to be cut down. The adjustable visors are easy to do this to as you just cut 3" off each side panel in the center and redrill the holes.
There are visors on E-bay all the time - getting one you like is a different matter. There are three on there now - non of which are good matches for you. the Cadillac one is a nice shape, but it would be better to get Stainless trim - not chrome, and I'm not sure th eside brackets would work on the truck. You might want to look at the plymouth parts too. Pay particular attention to th eway the sides are going to mount to your drip rail. There are both built on mounting clips and adjustable brackets. You are going to have to mod it a little - especially th ecenter bracket which you will likely have to make.
Here are some of the previous links on Visors, and I have a dedicated gallery on mine and some of the features of the others if you want to take a look:
