my 1988 ford f-150 has a new engine and all new sensors. since i put it all together it has had a rough idle. now its idling like it has a miss and i pulled a code 95 secondary fuel pump. is the pump going to pot and causing the rough idle. I have 2 tanks with the low pressure pumps and one high pressure on the frame. All of the timing and ignition components have been changed and the engine is timed as well. Im chasing a ghost and i need to catch the little *******
What brand of wires? I had two new Beldon sets that looked great but were terrible from the start. Motorcraft wires solved the problem. Many on this forum told me that the wires had to be Motorcraft but I didn't believe that could make such a difference.
Look at the wires with the engine running in the dark for leakage or run you hand over them and feel the pain like I did.
Do you have the wire routing and any wire crossovers correct?
When I rebuilt my 1988 F250, I used aftermarket sensors - big mistake. I replaced them very quickly with Motorcraft. Most failed.
