is this carb great for a stock 5.0 liter engine converted to carb or should i get a edlebrock 500 cfm i like holley better ,im afraid the edelbrock might not have as much pep as the holley but i dont wont bad gas mileage either need everyones advice

I was wondering if anyone has run one on a 5.0 also.I bought one for a 350 (other brand) and loved it.It was a 670.
Set the floats and it idle and it ran great.I later changed cams,so I changed the power valve and again it ran great.
