I can get 22 mpg on mine. I have the improved ford air intake with the Zoodad mod and a 4" ss performance exhaust, 4x4 & 6 speed. standard can. To get the 22 mpg I need summer fuel(#2) diesel and keep the speed at 55 mph. #2 diesel is hard to get in this area. Most sell the premium blend which has some #1 blended in it.

I can get high 19.x mpgs unloaded with rpms at 2000 or less. If you really want to achive the higher numbers you can look into propane fumigation, etc. . . . as per the collective wisdom here on FTE I have a DP Tuner and love it.
