Traction Control Switch
The '09 Ford Escape has a switch to disable TC. Did older Escape's have that switch also. The '09 Ford Escape Hybrid is the first year with the TC switch.

I don't know myself, but am curious. Can you also disable the stability control? Glad to hear the TC at least can be.

I learned that if you don't have a switch to disable TC, you don't have it. Just wish they'd done the same for 4WD too!

During the winter I've seen the TC dash icon come ON during turns on snow. Never noticed it at any other times but I didn't try to force it.
